Description

Le service Windows Internet Naming Service (WINS) permet une résolution des adresses IP en nom de machines NetBIOS. Selon Microsoft, une vulnérabilité dans le service Windows Internet Naming Service (WINS) permet à un utilisateur mal intentionné, via l'envoi de paquets judicieusement construits, de réaliser un déni de service.

Contournement provisoire

  • Filtrer les ports 42/TCP et UDP/137 ;
  • Désinstaller le service WINS s'il n'est pas utilisé.
