Summary
The Widget Options – Advanced Conditional Visibility for Gutenberg Blocks & Classic Widgets plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to, and including, 4.2.2 via the Display Logic feature. This is due to the plugin using eval() on user-supplied Display Logic expressions with an insufficient blocklist/allowlist that can be bypassed using array_map with string concatenation, combined with a lack of authorization enforcement on the extended_widget_opts_block attribute. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to execute code on the server. The vulnerability was partially patched in version 4.2.0.

Summary
The The Discussion Board – WordPress Forum Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary shortcode execution in all versions up to, and including, 2.5.5. This is due to the software allowing users to execute an action that does not properly validate a value before running do_shortcode. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to execute arbitrary shortcodes.

Summary
The Widget Options – The #1 WordPress Widget & Block Control Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.7 via the display logic functionality that extends several page builders. This is due to the plugin allowing users to supply input that will be passed through eval() without any filtering or capability checks. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to execute code on the server. Special note: We suggested the vendor implement an allowlist of functions and limit the ability to execute commands to just administrators, however, they did not take our advice. We are considering this patched, however, we believe it could still be further hardened and there may be residual risk with how the issue is currently patched.
